The territory that covers the valley of Resia offers exciting environments suitable for sports. Allows you to practice the main sporting activities away from the hustle of mass tourism, enjoying the charm and beauty of wild places, ideal for those who enjoy walking in nature, and for those who want to challenge the peaks of the Julian Alps, or those who want to venture into the abyss the plateau of Monte Canin.
The Alta Val resiana is a great trekking route that rides all the ridges that overlook the Resia. It ‘a journey of great beauty and majesty, through different environments and lonely, presenting a considerable length with climbing difficulties.
The High Street resiana is described with distance from the Mount View at Monte Sart (from south-east to north-west), but can be addressed in both directions. It is marked with triangles of red paint along the ridge while hiking the trails of character carry the normal indication of the CAI (white-red color and number).
The length of the course recommends splitting the route in some daily stages, using the points-equipped camp located along the High street resiana: despite what everyone can choose at will the path, carrying or interrupting variants where possible.
BIKE TOURISM - Bikeway Alpe Adria:
The cyclists will certainly find interesting Alpe Adria Route. A cycle path built in the former headquarters of the railway Pontebbana. You can pass your riding experience along the bridges and the tunnels of this spectacular work.
The cycle route Pontebba, also known as ‘cycling Alpe – Adria’, runs into several segments
- 15 kms – from the border of Coccau in Tarvisio and Camporosso in Valcanale ( pass m.850 )
- branch from Tarvisio that gnaws in Valromana Fusine lakes , and link to Kranjska Gora
- Km.21 – Camporosso, Valbruna, Pontefract
- km.26 – Pontefract, Dogna, Chiusaforte, Resiutta Moggio Udinese
- brief interruption in Chiusaforte for the recovery of a tunnel (2011 – in progress)
- connection path between Resiutta and Resia
- km.29 – from Moggio Udinese in Gemona
- variant path to the lake Cavazzo
Currently (2011) are made of real bike path routes from Tarvisio in Resiutta.
However, even the remaining connections are easy to ride a bicycle on promiscuous secondary roads with low traffic (with a few brief exceptions).
Sella Nevea is a must for lovers of Skiing In Italy, Bovec, Slovenia offers a total of 30 km of slopes on both sides, with a skiable area between 1150 and 2300 meters. The slopes of all levels or difficulties, are placed in a beautiful natural setting, on the edge of a natural park and dominating the plain with views to the sea.
Nassfeld – Passo Pramollo, another large ski resort ski leg lies on the border between Austria and Italy : 30 lifts ( 5 gondolas, chairlifts esaposto 4 and 4 quad , 17 ski lifts ) are 110 kilometers of downhill ski slopes for all difficulties (11 km difficult, 69 km average 30 km easy ) that develop between 1300 and 2020 m. For the fans of snowboarding fun park with 2 quarter -pipe, boarder cross and track training from HighJump , a twinpipe (New World ), and the trail down into the valley “Carnia”, which with its 2.2 kilometers is one of the longest floodlit ski slope longest in Europe. For the lovers of cross country skiing there are 80 km of beaten paths, from easy to difficult, 2 runs with guaranteed snow on the high seas in Nassfeld / Nassfeld. Those who prefer hiking winter can choose the path of 55 kilometers. There are also 5 toboggan runs , 3 are lit . Impressive are the 55 ha of natural ice the Presseggersee lake . Friuli Venezia Giulia is easily accessible from the ski resort Nassfeld , while the project is in a lift connection directly from Pontefract.
